“Best in the World” Danielson is here. This match, it is up there, but the environment didn’t strike me as being this all time classic. One reason, crowd heat. It wasn’t terrible, but I don’t think anybody thought a title change was happening, especially not being booked in the main event. Also, Gibson’s arm selling down the stretch could have been a little bit better, but I need to check that out on rewatch. I’m pretty sure this is ROH top 10 for 05 in a year full of a lot of very good matches.
